Thursday Sep 03, 2020
In this episode Dr. Morgan Francis, PSY.D and I discuss how we can develop the positive coping skills and appropriate hierarchies in order to navigate disruptions in the relationships we have with ourselves, our bodies, our family and friends, as well as our environment.
We unpack the implications of technology and social media, how we learn to not trust ourselves and how that is perpetuated in diet culture, as well as how we can build a positive self image.

Ep 11: Internal Leadership
Sunday Aug 30, 2020
Sunday Aug 30, 2020
In this episode I discuss internal leadership, this is one of my favorite methodologies I use with my clients to initiate the healing process.
By using internal dialogue you can begin to access "parts" of yourself and begin to build bridges between your conscious material and unconscious material. By using your "internal leader" aka the Self, you begin to take more compassionate, curious, and courageous steps towards wholeness.
If this information resonates with you and you are interested in doing this work in a guided container, you can apply for my Born to Heal waitlist for the October cohort here, or you can apply to work with me 1:1 in a more personal and intimate container!

Sunday Aug 23, 2020
In today's episode I break down a scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
This scene is where Dumbledore confronts Harry Potter in front of the Mirror of Erised.
This episode unpacks how desire can keep us suspended in a child like ego perspective and desire can serve as a reflection of what needs to be confronted within ourselves to move forward and evolve.

This is a solo episode by yours truly.
In this episode, I broke down The Brother's Grimm fairy tale,
The Old Woman in the Wood.
In this tale, a young girl finds herself lost in the woods following a sudden loss. This tale unpacks her heroine's journey and her reuniting with her masculine and her journey against an old woman in the wood.

Ep 5: Embodiment
Sunday Aug 09, 2020
Sunday Aug 09, 2020
Embodiment is the subjective experience of our body.
It is an “inside out” sense of our bodies.
Embodiment defines the body as more than just the physical body (such as a chair being just a chair) into the body as a moving, feeling, aware body.
The body is part of who we are.
If we can reclaim our bodies, we become the bearers of choice.
When we are the bearers of choice, we can now accept our present moment and act in a way that mirrors what you value.
Visit the AlphaFemme Blog for exercises to improve the felt sense within your body.

Ep 3: Dancing with the Shadow
Sunday Aug 02, 2020
Sunday Aug 02, 2020
In this episode we are dancing with our shadows.
Danielle discusses what are shadow, how they develop, how they can perpetuate through family systems and society, as well as how to approach shadow work!
Psychological shadows are near and dear to my heart because I believe they are the most misunderstood part of our healing.
When we catch a glimpse of them, the last thing we want to do is be compassionate towards our darkness.
Compassion transmutes and catalyzes the integration of the shadow.
Shadow work is foundational to the work Danielle does with her 1-1 clients and individuals in her Embodied group course.
To learn more about the shadow, check out the AlphaFemme Blog where Danielle offers her favorite journaling exercises to start shadow work.
