In today's episode I discuss the 1st of the Vulnerable Goddesses, Persephone.
Persephone, represents the Maiden, the Queen of the Underworld and Receptive Woman.
Although Persephone was kidnapped into the underworld, she later becomes the Queen of the Underworld.
This underworld represents the deepest layers of the psyche, where all of her dark feelings and memories have been hidden.
After Persephone becomes queen she is able to bridge and move between consciousness and the unconscious.
This is necessary step in our integration towards wholeness.
This evolved version of the Maiden to Queen represents the ability to serve as a guide for others who visit those deep layers of the psyche.

Unlike Artemis and Athena, who were the virgin goddesses who manifested their strengths EXTERNALLY to achieve goals and implement plans for change, Hestia's true strength is found when she moves internally.

In today's episode I discuss the 2nd of the Virgin Goddesses, Athena.
Athena, is Goddess of Wisdom and Crafts.
The Athena woman thrives on strategy, practicality, and tangible results thinking.
The Athena woman values rational thinking, will, and intellect over instinct and nature.
Embodying excessive one sidedness of the Athena archetype could lead to what I like to call "psychological and emotional armor" of the woman, leading her to feel cut off and isolated from her feeling nature.
